IMPROV & EMPATHY: Dementia Communication Essentials for Caregivers
Tuesday, August 14, at 6:00 pm
Presented by PSS Circle of Care, Jennifer Sanchez, BSSW, CDCS

Communicating with a person with dementia can bring a unique set of challenges.
If you would like to learn a creative approach to these challenges, please join us at The Brielle for a thought-provoking introduction to the “Dementia Raw” Method, presented by PSS Circle of Care. Team members will provide an overview of the method which equips caregivers to handle everyday challenges while focusing on creating connection and simplifying communication using the rules of improv comedy and the pillars of empathy.

This technique, developed by the Silver Dawn Training Institute, equips professionals and family caregivers with a new way to communicate with their loved ones: the art of improvisation.

PSS Circle of Care partners with The Brielle offering on-site support groups and individual consultations by appointment.

Enjoy dinner on us! Stay for the conversation and leave with dinner. Complimentary take-home dinners will be available for guests.
